That’s great, but what does all this mean?

The GPL is very clear on its mantra and that is: any work of code licensed under the GPL adapts its
philosophy of “free software”. The term free does not necessarily refer to “no cost”, it refers to
freedom. Users are able to modify the software and redistribute it. They are also able to charge a price
for that modified software.
